Okay, maybe not that dramatic. Ugh, I felt that in my chest.

I've decided to re-route my energy into other projects and into you all in another way. I've started something called Artemis Virtual. I'll be posting information for FREE so that you all can learn the in's & out's of social media so that your voices can be heard too. It's our time familia, the doors are open, the gate is open and it is time to push through.

I'll be out and about, shoot ya girl a DM if you want to chat.

    No se, piensalo.

  • A Woman's Journey

In this episode I sit down with Iris Salazar, a simple, yet dynamic woman. She's one of those godly women, full of love, inspiration and warmth. She's one of those "in the trenches" kind of woman. What do I mean by "in the trenches"?

    ...

I mean those women who are there when the world is crumbling and pieces. She holds your hand, reminds you to breathe and trust that God is working his will in your life. She reminds you what raw Latin woman resilience and an undying devotion to the family unit is like.

    Beautiful. Rare. Brilliant. Resilient.

There is so much more to her story, I can feel it. And I feel lucky enough to have been able to catch her for a few minutes to discuss religion, a woman's duty and family.

Let's have a conversation about what you think, sounds off in the comments or send in a voice message.

  • Life Through a Creative Lens

It has become a rare thing to meet someone genuinely hungry, not hungry for financial gain, but hungry for the craft and the development of it. This week I sit down with Ismael from Life Through Lens and let me tell you. It was refreshing, inspiring, and heartwarming. I left that recording wanting more out of myself. Listening to his story of how he came to be, how he got started, and where his production company is headed now was an absolute delight. I hope that this RGV Creative, episode inspires you, I hope it reminds you that it is okay to be a little scared when you're starting someone new. That it's okay to be a little scared when you decided to share a piece of your love with the world. It is okay, for you to take that leap and say, "This is mine, I would appreciate it if you looked at it and told me how it made you feel."

No more spoilers, just go listen to the episode:

  • Love & KinFolk

When the idea for this topic came to me it had a different tone, feel and texture. Then the weekend came, and all of that shifted. What started out as a wonderful memory making weekend shifted to a darker life changing one.

In the YouTube upload for this episode you'll see my close friends and I celebrating my birthday with some arts & crafts time. We are having an at home Paint & Sip moment with the designs created by my dear friend Linda. She started a company this year called Kinfolk Krafts, and she designs all kinds of cool home designs, decor and functional items. Not 4 hours from the moment that we are recording this will something drastic come into play.

  • La Platica with Da Average Boys

This was one of those more enjoyable conversations, I sat down with Chris P from The Average Boys Podcast and I’ll be honest, the conversation flowed man. It is a rare and beautiful thing to find another individual that shares in your passion and executes it so flawlessly. I’m sure that there were levels that led to Mr. Chris Ponce becoming all that he is of course, I’m just glad I was able to share in it and now with you. Join us, as we discuss how we find ways to show the people that we are just like them. The only difference being that we decided and still decide to do something about it. I won’t give away any more details…you’ll just have to go listen.

  • The Flow of Creativity

I listen to these words that were sent to me by Niki. You see sometimes we need reminders. Reminders that we hold all the awe and wonder in the world within ourselves.

I like to think that it is those moments of high creativity where I fall into my flow that I also find my awe. In this week's episode, I sit down the fellow RGV Creative, Christopher Thomas Richardson. Chris is a Producer and Composer who doesn't adhere to any one style of music. If you peep his Spotify you'll find yourself immersed in house music one moment and atmospheric the next. I have to tell you, it's a transition that I don't mind one bit. Blame it on my music junkie habit.

Follow the conversation as we discuss creativity, where it stems from for us, and how it involves spirituality.

  • La Toxica

I ask myself as I begin typing this, "Is questioning the idea of 'la toxica' controversial? Will it cause others to reflect on themselves a bit more and ask themselves "Do I have toxic traits?" and if so, what are they. The conversation begins with the discussion of this new archetype, its outward ripple effect, and the question of, is there something that we need to do differently? Our first guest for the RGV Creatives Series, is Mike Grajeda, of VerifiedPodcastRGV and he had quite a lot to say on the matter. Listen in and leave a message.
