This week includes a chat with St. Thomas coach Enrico Blasi, who led Miami to many years of greatness, and is now trying to build a fledgling D-I program. It was recently announced St. Thomas would be building an on-campus rink, after a generous donation. We talk to Blasi about what it takes to build things up, the challenges of recruiting, and how the current team's progress is going. ... Meanwhile, we discuss the recent Beanpot semifinals, and Northeastern's rise up the Pairwise, though there is a caveat. And lots of other talk about new programs and what they're doing or are going to do.

CHN Insiders - NCAA Tournament Brackets

We're down to Championship Saturday in the conference tournaments, and unto itself, it means a lot of great drama is ahead on the ice. But it also means we're close to the NCAA Tournament field being determined and, more interestingly, bracketed. This year contains a number of potentially thorny, and in some cases, unprecedented situations for the NCAA's Men's Ice Hockey Committee to ponder and work out.
