Chocolate Festival 2016 – Episode 53
This is episode 53, which in a round about way means the podcast has been running for over a year. Thank you for listening now, and week in week out. I hope you’re well and you enjoyed the episode last week where I spoke to Andy from Arcade Club.
This weekend it’s been the Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival, the yearly event is now in it’s eighth year and it brings in sellers from all over the country and shoppers from all over the North West.
Thankfully it’s been dry this weekend for the Chocolate Festival, last year it was a total washout and really affected the turnout for the event, naturally, as there is no rain this year, Ramsbottom is heaving with people here looking for chocolatey treats.
Have you had one of these stickers on your bin? Was it accurate or are they just guessing as I think they might be?
Probably a bit late for this for most people reading this, but today there is the Giant Duck Race which I am taking place in, well, I’m not but my duck is. This is at 1pm in Ramsbottom and if you head to Bridge Street I’m sure it starts at The Wharf Area.
Speaking of ducks, on the website this week I published a post listing three of the best locations around Ramsbottom to feed the ducks, and why you shouldn’t feed them bread.
