The Black community is filled with different flavours of chocolate.  With this notion, comes different textures of experiences. From the eyes of a black and queer being, Chocolate is the best way to describe the black community.

Take the cocoa bean. The cocoa is taken, snatched or harvested with a fear of the unknowing. Paired with the intense mixtures of ingredients and experiences, the cocoa bean forms what the world knows to be "chocolate". The analogy is simple. Chocolate can be advertised and promoted to make professional business gains. Chocolate can be seen as a sexual and sensual energy, and sadly objectified and glorified in lustful ungodly hours. We are rich in taste being black culture. We are delicate. And through our design, we articulate and mould our abundant history and attributes of art and life into a blended and sacred self love that is oh so sweet!
