So then those who
are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” 12 Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them. 13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written,
“Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith
Now thanks
be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. He who hath believed do enter into rest.
Deuteronomy 27:11–13 NKJV
And Moses commanded the people on the same day, saying, 12 “These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have crossed over the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin; 13 and these shall stand on Mount Ebal to curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of
his mouth,
A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth;
From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. 21 Death and life
are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Let us hold fast the confession of
our hope without wavering, for He who promised
is faithful.
