George Orwell said, ‘Every generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it.’ Most of us understand that there is a tension between generations and that tension can lead to separation. But the Bible teaches that each generation has something valuable to offer the others – but experiencing that blessing takes work and understanding.
