Joe founded The Campaign Workshop, an advocacy and Democratic political consulting firm based in Washington DC, in 2009 after having been a partner at MSHC Partners. Joe is known for his creativity and commitment to the causes and campaigns he works on. He has produced award winning strategies for a long list of clients, including the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network and DC VOTE.

Prior to starting The Campaign Workshop, Joe served as the Northeast Political Director at the Democratic National Committee in 1996, and between 1991 and 1995 managed many political campaigns across the country.
