Choosing to be a part of the solution rather than playing the blame game takes a lot of courage. As an entrepreneur, you have to be willing to take on the challenges of being a public persona and finding a way to work within an ever-changing cash flow. You also have to continually strive toward maintaining a proper balance between work and life.
To discuss choosing courage and balance in entrepreneurship, I (Daniel) chatted with Sunny Lu, the President and CEO of Techserv.io. Sunny shares some of her family experiences, the calling of entrepreneurship, the bravery of stepping into the unknown, and understanding the bar you set as a leader. She also relates how important the health and life balance of employees is to a thriving business. Sunny offers a lot of personal transparency as she discusses her own journey of discovery regarding balance.
“A lot of this company, a lot of myself, has been very much a humbling experience of watching what others have done, being able to, in hindsight, say, ‘Yes, I would want to do this differently’... and then applying that not only to myself but to my team and how we as a company do business.” -- Sunny Lu Williams
