Dr. Cassie Seal, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Somatic Therapist, owner and founder of CassieSeal.LOVE and creator of the Wisdom Healing System. As an expert in helping others heal, Cassie never would have imagined that her own journey to heal her digestive system would lead her to a question of whether or not to leave her 17 year marriage. She now refers to relationships as the holy grail of healing because the inward cause of all physical symptoms and disease also reflect outwardly into our relationships.
In addition to her private coaching and teaching, Cassie is currently writing her first book called Choosing Divorce which chronicles her journey arriving at the choice to leave. She describes it as one of the most painful and difficult choices of her life, but in the end she vowed to make the choice not from resentment and anger, but from love and compassion both for herself and her husband. There are times when change is necessary to invite further growth and evolution, the key is being able to discern if this is true for you or not. She is not an advocate for more divorce, she is an advocate for more love.
In this episode, Cassie chats with Crissy about her own challenges as a new mother working full-time, struggling with her health, and feeling unsatisfied with her marriage. Cassie stresses the importance of finding a foundation of support to build healthy habits off of, and how our relationships serve as a mirror reflecting our inner selves.
