Welcome to our online service of Choral Evensong for the 14th Sunday after Trinity. We are delighted that this is a recording of a live service which took place at St Laurence's, East Harptree; the first live, relatively normal (albeit socially distanced), choral evensong since March 2020.
Our service is led by Elaine Avery, who also leads our intercessions, and the readers are Janet Jones and Tricia Rees-Jones. The cantor is Derek Griffin and the choir is led by Tricia Rees-Jones who also plays the piano.
The anthem is a setting of the well-known hymn 'Be Still for the Presence of the Lord' by David Evans and arranged by Richard Shephard and the closing voluntary is the middle movement 'Andante' from the Italian Concerto by J S Bach.
