He sifts through soil and gravel, using special tools to uncover and separate particles of gold. The gold is set apart from the dirt because it is valuable. To be separate, or set apart, is something I can absolutely pursue. As children of God, we are called to be holy, separate from the world, set apart from sin in everything we do. We are

valuable to God which is why He calls us to holiness. So let’s not be afraid of holiness, let’s not confuse the word with something that is unattainable or arrogant.
