Today I'm talking with film composer Chris Bezold. You can find his work at https://www.chris bezold.com/ 

He is a fellow alumnus which is how we were introduced a few years back. We recap a film industry Alumni event Chris Hosted recently. We break down some different approaches to the industry. Chris shares how he moved from the technical side of the audio industry over into composition. Considering his primary discipline is drums & percussion, he made a very unique path for himself. 

Chris is also in the National Guard and has done some pretty incredible missions. You might not recognize some of the terms we use so I'll tell you here - AIT is advanced individual training which is where you learn your job after basic training. DLI is "Defense Language Institute" and Underway means you are on a ship out to sea.
