Chris Burgess is the owner of Lift The Bar (LTB), which is a highly successful membership platform providing education, resources, advice and a supportive communty for personal trainers seeking further career development. He also owns Curious Fitness, a semi-private PT studio, where he still trains clients and has been doing so for over 14 years.

In this episode Chris, who intends to one day be that 80 year old PT still walking the gym floor, shares why he left a high paying corporate role to become a personal trainer in the first place. He discusses the birth of Lift The Bar and attracting the first few members, to growing it to where it is today, with 1250 members. After describing the challenges faced by trainers who join LTB, Chris gives his own advice for personal trainers who want to get their clients better results. Chris also provides an insight into his managing style when it comes to his team and explains how he helps them excel in their roles, in turn helping the company become a success.
