This guy! As the son of veteran comedic actor John Candy, humor runs in Chris Candy’s blood. The Canadian-born actor trained at Groundlings, Second City, and Upright Citizens Brigade, and regularly performs with Second City Hollywood as part of the improv team DAZL. He hosts the weekly music program Neuz Pollution for KXLU 88.9, and is the co-host and creator of Bumper 2 Bumper, an interview podcast that takes place during rush hour in L.A. His acting credits include roles in Matthew Jacobs’ award-winning feature Bar America and the Funny or Die series Mystic Cosmic Patrol. In 2019 along with co-creator Guerrin Gardner, Candy wrote and starred in Rick Darge’s Chowchilla, which screened at the Raindance and Calgary International Film Festivals.
