Was a captain with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, trained hazmat expert, EMT, Father, husband, He was portrayed in the iconic photo that won a Pulitzer Prize holding the body of infant Baylee Almon after the Oklahoma Federal Building Bombing in 1995. Co-founder of Trauma Behind the Badge, He has dedicated his life & travels to 1st responders on the brutal realities of a life spent responding to citizens, there are over 1 million firefighters in our nation and 70% of them are volunteers.
