Chris Kennedy started racing as a kid when some friends of his mentioned a track was starting up in his hometown in Louisiana. He did well locally and even had success on the national scene as a kid. But once he found cars and girls in high school racing took a back seat. By 1986 he was done with racing. 20 years go by and in between that time he went to college, started his career in insurance and started a family. He even did a bit of motocross. In 2006 he bought a Redline cruiser. And since that time Chris has been racing full time. I recently sat down with him and we chatted about family, racing in Louisiana, Black Crown and racing in the ever competitive 51-55 expert class. The next time you see him ask him about being the sprint king of Delaney Dr. Enjoy.
