Chris AKA CJ started his journey in Podcasting with the hopes of being able to inspire people all over the world to stop settling for average and just be awesome. CJ's first introduction to Podcasting started in 2003. He produced a monthly Audio Blog for the South Dakota National Guard Public Affairs Office. He has an extensive background in Video Production and Broadcast Journalism. His work has been seen all over the country on national advertising for the Army National Guard. He was also instrumental in creating video content for the South Dakota National Guard website and introduced the Holiday Hello program instituted throughout all the branches of the military. CJ created Ripka Media Group with the hopes of being part of something bigger than his self. After meeting Ray Rideout, he saw the missing link in what is to become the future of Podcast Networking. In Ray, he found the same vision and passion for the industry that is still finding it's placed among the much older and developed forms of media. CJ is a husband, and father who started out as an Infantryman in the Army turned Broadcast Journalist. He has produced more than 200 video productions, 14 Armed Forces Radio shows, four podcasts, and 2 Livestream shows. CJ is currently hosting Raw & Real with CJ Ripka Podcast, 60 Seconds Game Show on Blab and Podcasters Morning Minute which is streamed across multiple sources to include blab, periscope, and re-purposed for his podcast.
