The maker of ChrisDowa products is recalling ChrisDowa Roller Window Shades. These window shades have long operating cords and lack required safety labeling thereby violating federal safety regulations for window coverings.

About 19,500 units were sold exclusively online through Amazon.com from December 2022 to September 2024. These roller shades were available nationwide, including in California, Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, and other states.

Immediately stop using the product and store these window shades and cords away from children. Contact the company via the email [email protected] receive a free operating cord wand repair kit. To obtain the kit, you must email a photo of the recalled product with the cord cut.
