In Colossians 1:15–23, Paul lifts our eyes to see Jesus as He truly is—not merely helpful or inspiring, but supreme over all creation, the source, sustainer, and goal of everything that exists. This exalted Christ is also the reconciling Savior, who entered our rebellion, laid down His life, and now presents us holy, forgiven, and free from accusation—reordering every part of our lives around His gracious rule.
