Our surroundings should get better while the world is getting worse First job was out of high school, working as a cashier for Arby's Restaurant, where he also first experienced racism in the workplace.  They gave a math test to black people, not white people.  He was fired when he questioned this. When he went to school in the U.S. he first got the idea that a black man can't be president, at that time. He went to the Univ of Miami as a pre-med/pre-law student with an athletic and academic scholarship.  During the summer he was looking for something fun to do and answered an ad for acting/modeling and did very well. We have a tendency to ask God "what do you want me to do?" as opposed to "who do you want me to be?"
