This week Nic spoke to us about prayer from Acts 4 where we see the early church gathering together to pray and petition the Lord in the midst of some very difficult and threatening situations. We spoke about what prayer is, the importance of it and what Acts 4 teaches about prayer.

The early church were a radical community of believers and this wasn’t just in the way they worshipped or through the miracles they saw - but it was also in the way they handled their money. This week Seth spoke to us about the Biblical principle of generosity.

This week Nic continued our new preaching series by looking at Acts 6 and speaking about the call that each one of us, as believers, has to preach the gospel, pray for the lost and to do it whilst working together in team.

This week we started our new preaching series as Seth spoke to us about how we want to become a community with a missionary mindset, serving, loving and reaching out to those around us in South West Brooklyn.

This week we continued our look at the Christmas story as Seth spoke to us from Luke 1. We spoke about how Mary responded to an unexpected gift and how we can have confidence that God gives us grace in midst of our own unwanted situations.

This week we begun our Christmas countdown and looked at the first of our three Christmas Messages. Nic spoke to us from Luke 1 as we studied the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, asking the question ‘how does our past, present and pain impact the way we respond to God?’

This week Rhi closed our series on Philippians by looking at chapter 4:6-7 about how we are called to be a people who trust, rest and yield to the will of God. As we do these things we are able to find peace and genuine joy.

This week we took a break from our Philippians series as Seth Hoffman shared his thoughts and lessons learned from his journey of running the 2019 New York Marathon!

This week we had an all-in, all-age, family service. Patricia spoke to us from Luke 15 about being a lost coin and how God wants to connect us to each other, as part of His big family.

This week guest Speaker Jon Richardson encouraged us to be a people who pressing forward by looking at Jesus rather than looking back and living in reject. He spoke to us from Philippians 3:15-21 as we continued our series looking at Philippians.
