As three hours of midday darkness ended, Christ called out. He asked why His Father had forsaken Him. A question we can't fully understand. We consider i) what it meant for Christ to be forsaken ii) how He modelled the believer's response to deep trials; iii) how all who reject Christ will be forsaken eternally.
