During this season for many there is the reality of holiday stress wrapped up in family drama, family dysfunction, wondering how this side of the family is going to behave when they are around this other side of the family, for some there are unmet expectations that bring about disappointment. The holidays can be a little chaotic as we navigate all of these emotions.

All too often when we have heightened emotions and feelings caused by stress or chaos we just try to pretend like they aren’t there or we aren’t actually feeling what we are feeling, if I just ignore the feelings it will go away.
