oikonomia: the implementation of Jesus’ Mission on earth

oikos + nomos = oikonomia

oikos: an extended family

nomos: management, law, principle, or system

Reminder: denial & sacrifice to your own well being for the sake of someone else’s benefit is oikonomia at its best

Christ in you is real hope for others: Will you let your life be a life-changer for others?

To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me. (Colossians 1:29).

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ. (Colossians 2:2).
