How is Memorial Day different from Easter?

We don't just memorialize a dead hero. We don't even really know where his grave is! Jesus is Risen! He is risen indeed!!!

Jesus Chose to Die for us (Luke 18:31-34).

His death ransomed us from Hell, satisfied God's Wrath, and showed us the way of self-giving love.

Jesus Rose for us and Jesus lives today -- FOR US!!! (Luke 24:1-12).

The memory of a dead hero does little for us when we ask, “How should we live today?” Jesus is Risen! He is risen indeed!!!

As our Risen LORD, Jesus lives even now for us and he lovingly corrects, guides, and blesses us in all things. He calls us into a relationship of growth and love as we become his disciples in this 21st century. Let us live for him as we serve one another in love!
