And all the entertainment and sports venues are shut down.
And the price of gas is almost down to a dollar.
And while nations call on a state of emergency,
Only God has all the power.

And whomever predicted a grim future for America,
Must have thought the Word of God was Dead.
Especially in a time when the world needs hope more than ever,
We should be talking about Jesus instead.

Why else would we say “One nation under God?”
And swear over a Holy bible in a court of law.
Then stamp the American currency to read, in God we trust.
But no president mentions Jesus at all.
