As we celebrate Advent and prepare our hearts for Christmas, we pause to marvel at the humility of Jesus—Emmanuel, God with us.

In this teaching, we consider who Christ truly is: the exalted, eternal God whose glory is above the heavens… and yet He stoops to look upon heaven and earth. And then we look at how He came—not with pomp and power, but with unimaginable humility. The Word became flesh. The Son of God entered our story through the womb, hidden and vulnerable, choosing the lowest place so He could be near to us in our weakness.

Through Scriptures like Matthew 11, Psalms 113 and 33, Hebrews 1, Philippians 2, John 1, and Luke 1, we’re invited to worship the Savior who came close—stepping into our humanity to walk with us and save us.
