Christian Campbell is my guest today and we are discussing his plans to qualify and compete in the Olympics as a boxer. He is also an active duty officer which leads to some great conversation about all the elements that have come into play as he balances his duties with his passion - our favorite subject here at On My Own Dime!

We identify some key components of adversity in any pursuit: hard work is not an entitlement to success, recognizing controllable elements when planning, and accepting the risk of uncontrollable elements when executing a plan.
