Today's church has developed a eclectic language, made up of a verbal shorthand. So often, oversimplified terms are used to discuss important biblical truths. And, because of this, the church can no longer separate these ingrained phrases from scriptural truth. Worse yet, these pat clichés have intruded into our worship, discipleship, etcetera, spreading doctrinal confusion throughout all levels of the church.
