Barbara Warren and her husband, Charles, live on a farm in the beautiful Ozarks where they raise beef cattle. Barbara has had short stories, articles, and devotions published in magazines such as Home Life, Mature Living, and Journey, and is a member of the writing pool for Open Windows, the Southern Baptist devotional magazine.

Barbara’s mystery, The Gathering Storm was published by Jireh Publishing and was later brought out in e-book by Eddie Jones of Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas. Her romantic suspense, Murder at The Painted Lady, was published in hardback by Avalon Books. It was then brought out in paperback by Amazon Publishing. She has taught in her church for several years. She is a former youth leader and enjoys working with young people of all ages. God and church are very important parts of her life.
