From attending church as a child, Terri knew plenty about the Bible and salvation, but never had an intimate relationship with God. Watching God transform her father in the last few weeks of his life forced Terri to ask who God was to her as well. Her dad’s final words prompted encouragement and prayer: “Terri, nothing is more important than God.”
Terri and her husband Rob answered Christ’s call in their lives shortly afterward and discovered there was lots of Kingdom work to be done. After rearing three fantastic children, God placed adoption on their hearts and they added two more.
One of their biggest goals is to raise their children up to recognize God’s call in their own lives so they can see the face of Jesus in Heaven some day. The realization of this had more implications than the Stellrechts could have ever dreamed, as a tragic accident claimed the life of their twelve-year-old son Trent.
