One of the biggest critiques of the church is the hypocrisy and double standards in relation to sin. It is something that people both outside and inside the church constantly bring up. It is something that I as Christian have seen far too often. We as the church need to step up and do better. This representation is not an accurate portrayal of Jesus, at all. In this episode I cover some of the double standards. As well as scripture that relates to the topic of hypocrisy. Sin is still sin. It does the damage of pushing us away from God. We as the church are called to be imitators and representatives of Jesus. Including imitating His love, mercy, selflessness, and kindness. Our world needs more love and light!
