Andrew has been a part of movies such as, I Can Only Imagine, Unsung Hero, Jesus Revolution, Ordinary Angels, and more!
Andrew serves as Chief Creative Officer at Kingdom Story Company as well as produces and directs feature films with his brother Jon and Kevin Downes.
Kingdom Stories latest film, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, is out everywhere this Friday!
The Herdmans are absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, they steal, they bully…and now they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. Directed by Dallas Jenkins (“The Chosen”) and based on the international bestseller by Barbara Robinson, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER follows six siblings who sneak into church searching for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant. Grace (Judy Greer) is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter Beth (Molly Belle Wright) and husband Bob (Pete Holmes) are in over their heads, especially against a town that wants them to kick the Herdmans out. But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas. Featuring Lauren Graham. Screenplay by Ryan Swanson and Platte F. Clark & Darin McDaniel.

On today’s show, we chat with 2-time guest, Mac Powell!
Award-winning artist and songwriter Mac Powell just released his new album, I Love Jesus! After a nearly three-decade career as the lead singer with the GRAMMY Award-winning band Third Day, Powell released his CCM solo debut in 2021, New Creation. This album produced the hit radio singles "New Creation" and "River of Life." When he began working on this new project, he wanted to return to basics. The album is filled with three and four-chord songs that remind the listener of what God has done in our lives and remind us of the love of Jesus and our love for him.
Powell continues, "With I Love Jesus I wanted to return to the simplicity of what I do. The gospel is a simple truth and I wanted to share that in simple songs that remind us of what God has done in our lives and remind us of the love of Jesus. I believe this is some of my best work and songs and I can’t wait to hear the stories of how these songs impact people's lives."

The song describes her story of overcoming anorexia and her struggles with body image, and strives to help others feel less alone if they have struggled with similar problems. Healing is possible. She wanted to do something similar to Project Semicolon, but geared toward anyone who has struggled with an eating disorder, body dysmorphia, or body image issues. Instead of a semicolon, she is inviting people to get a tattoo of a tooth. As people see the tooth, they will be reminded of what they have overcome and that there is a community of people with similar stories, cheering each other on.

WE PRAY PRAYERS FOR STRENGTH WHEN WE ARE WEAK, PRAYERS FOR A MIRACLE WHEN WE NEED A BREAKTHROUGH, PRAYERS FOR PURPOSE WHEN WE FEEL LOST. MOST OF ALL, I WANTED TO MAKE A RECORD THAT ECHOED THE CALL I HAVE FELT IN MY OWN HEART TO HIT MY KNEES LIKE NEVER BEFORE AND NEVER FORGET THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT CONVERSATION I COULD HAVE TODAY AND EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE IS WITH THE ONE WHO MADE ME, KNOWS ME, AND HAS THE BEST PLAN FOR MY LIFE. I HOPE THESE SONGS INSPIRE YOU TO DISCOVER FOR THE FIRST TIME OR MAYBE REDISCOVER THE POWER OF A PRAYER.”
