Is there a minimum or maximum length for a trailer?
While there technically is no minimum or maximum length for a trailer, anything shorter than 30 seconds is probably not long enough to give an audience a taste of your show. Additionally, anything longer than 3 minutes is probably too long.

Will you host my audio file?
No, I will not host your audio file. The audio file must be in your podcast feed and labeled as a trailer.

How do I label my audio file as a trailer?
Most hosting providers or podcast plug-ins allow you to check a box or some other way to indicate that the audio file is a trailer. Check with your hosting provider to see if the feature is supported. If you are hand-coding your RSS feed, you need to use the tag and label it as a trailer.

How do I make a trailer?
A trailer should be just a taste of your podcast. It should entice listeners to want to hear more. You record, produce, and upload a trailer just like any other episode. Apple offers some great advice for creating a podcast trailer.

I don’t have a trailer, could you include an entire episode?
No. I will only include trailers. This isn’t a feed drop.

I don’t have a trailer, will you record one for me?
Yes, for a fee.

What about copyright?

I link directly to the owner’s content. I do not host or cache the files. I believe I’m using these files as intended: To be shared and promote a podcast.
