Today’s episode is special because I’m talking about spirituality in marriage. I usually don’t talk about spirituality (although I am a Christian) because I like to stay more practical while giving tools for a happy and healthy marriage but I receive so many requests from my audience about this topic so I want to honor that and discuss Christians and Boundaries. I’m joined by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my mentor, Simone Cox, and she gives us a balanced perspective about how to set limits for ourselves while walking out our Christian lives. You’ll learn:
How the concept of submission is used to manipulate people
Which pastors to receive marriage advice from
How to set boundaries with your parents (as an adult)
How to set boundaries if you’re experiencing the 3 “A’s” in your marriage (Affair, Addiction, Abuse)
Simone Cox is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC). She is passionate about serving others.

Simone holds a faculty position at Point University. She also has a MBA with over a decade of business experience. Simone is happily married and the couple has two sons, a beautiful daughter-in-love and three wonderful grandchildren. The family enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, socializing with friends and reading.
