Hello and welcome to episode 53 of Christians In My Soup. A weekly podcast BY one of God’s peculiar people, ABOUT God’s peculiar people, FOR God’s peculiar people. Proving that life is simply not as black and white as some would have us believe, but that some-times life gets real and doesn’t fit into any boxes, no matter how hard we try !

So this week's show is a very special edition for a couple of reasons. Firstly it's the very 1st interview I've done on this show and secondly the show will be going out to a far wider audience than usual, thanks to the interviewee, The Message Trust and New Sound Christian Radio, but more of that later.

A few weeks back someone said to me, “You should think about interviewing people for your show !” Initialy I wasnt up for it as up till now, Christians in my Soup has always been a 1 man show that was perhaps more of an audio blog than anything else. But then whilst chatting to a friend of mine, who's about to embark on a whole new era of life for the Lord, I WAS inspired to interview him not just for the podcast but for the wider publication of the project that he and his wife are about to undertake.
