O God of peace, you dwell at all times in perfect peace, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  It is because of our sinfulness that your church does not dwell in this peace.  I thank you, God, that you have made peace with sinners through the blood of your One and Only Son, and that we can exercise the faith you freely give us in order to echo the peace in which you live in heaven, here on earth.  I pray that you will cause us to love each other in your peace, encouraging one another in the gospel of peace, by which you saved us.  Amen.
