This episode features Gloria Samuels an amazing voice for the Latinx/Hispanic community. Listen to her share her views on voting in this episode of Front Porch Candor's series of community voices titled #ChristianVoicesChristianVotes where she appeals directly to a segment of our population often disenfranchised, marginalized, and heavily oppressed, Latinxs and Hispanics. Given the current division and mean-spiritedness toward their community it is no wonder like others, they too are at times left feeling demoralized, dejected and plain uninspired to show up and vote. We pray that you give a listen to this spirited voice for change. Gloria is a faith-filled, proud American, and military wife, She is also a mother, and hard worker who has achieved a great many accomplishments through sheer determination, hard work and most importantly faith. In recognition of the fact that we are indeed stronger together, Gloria bravely agreed to join me here on Front Porch Candor's #ChristianVoicesChristianVotes. Again, this small effort is designed to show that Christians can and should be a voice for the voiceless, who are often poor, immigrants, widows, children and others. Just as our voices matter, so do our votes. We encourage all those, especially every black and brown citizen who may have sat out prior elections for whatever reasons not to do so this year. There is far too much at stake, our lives and well being, and there have already been devastating consequences felt in our families, communities, and the country. Please register to vote and exercise your rights as a citizen of these United States of America. Encourage everyone you know to do the same boldly, fearlessly and faithfully. #2020Vision #NextGenerationFightToday #ForgettheMoatGetOuttheVote #LatinxHispanicVotesCount2
