Christmas at Union | The Missing Piece is Peace

Anything on this side of eternity (government, money, intellect, success, family, job, friends, etc) will not bring peace, but God is the one that brings peace. Stop saying, “I can’t have peace" because I can have peace. God has a plan. Do not walk in fear. Walk in peace.

How do we have peace?

1. We have peace because Jesus is our Lord

‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬

‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭15‬

It’s not what culture says it’s what He says

‭‭I John‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭4‬

When we don’t live by the Word we carry a burden. When we make Him our Lord we live in peace

2. We have peace because we are patient with His promises

‭‭II Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬-‭9‬

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬-‭22‬

Find the answer in the Word

God is not slack concerning His promise

Yes, Amen, and BECAUSE I SAID SO

If you’d lay aside some weights and sins you can see the guarantee.

3. We have peace because of love

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭39‬

Don’t get so caught up in changing the perception. Learn how to love myself

Jesus loves me. It’s too good to be true. Yes, yes it is

Peace will happen not when you come to grip with sin but when you repent and turn from your sins; you can’t love others without loving yourself

Not everyone needs a key to your house.

700 years between the prophecy and the promise of the Messiah, don’t give up on your missing peace because what God promises will come to pass
