The Christmas story is full of moments when characters are invited to look up. Even though their lives contained confusion, fear, and grief God was still at work. If they didn't turn their gaze upward they risked missing the miracle of Jesus' birth.

The same could be said of us this Christmas. Distractions surround us, but this Christmas Eve is an opportunity to pause and look up.
