As human beings, we are wired for the word yes. However, we don’t always see God fitting into that picture of yes. We often view God as a finger-pointing being who loves to say no. That picture of God is simply not true, and that’s where the Christmas story comes in. When we messed up, God could have said no and written us off, but He didn’t. Instead, God said yes by coming into the world through Jesus. The Christmas story of Jesus entering humanity as a baby proves that God’s heart for you isn’t a stress-producing no, but a joy-producing yes. Merry Christmas from Northshore!
