Christmas in a small beach town
Holly would do anything for the sister who raised her after the deaths of their parents. And she does. Settling in at a beach house (she hates the ocean) and babysitting her sister's pets (she has never had anything to do with animals before) was enough of a shock, but when she has to wear her sister's clothes and get involved with her sister's friends, she wonders what will happen to her when her sister returns to reclaim her life. This was a very different premise for me that was interesting and thought provoking. I really enjoyed watching Holly face and deal with changes that she didn't really want to address.
A fun holiday read
This is in a set of Sweet Kisses. A sweet story of a woman who comes to the beach to take care of her sisters home and animals after she has been deployed. Holly knows nothing about animals or children, so meeting a man with 5 year old triplets is an awakening for her. A quick, fun holiday romance read. I would recommend it for this time of the year.
First Impressions are not lasting Impressions
An inspirational holiday romance on the beach. Two unlikely characters come together. Include a house of pets: dogs, cats, and a very vocal parrot. This was delightful romance was included in the boxed set Sweet Christmas Kisses 3.
