It's Christmas time in Appalachia! Time to hang our stockings, set up our tree, and spend time with the people we love (and sometimes tolerate) the most! But why do we even celebrate Christmas as Christians? Where do we get some of the famous legends and traditions that surround this holiday? And how ought we think of the Christmas story as Appalachian natives?
