In our readings for Sunday (Ephesians 1 and John 1), we are shown a tremendous gift. We are

given glimpses of our past, our present and our future as children of God. The character Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens shows us how we get off track in the present and where this future leads us to. And, then, after Scrooge wakes up from his 3 visits from the spirits, he is transformed. In the same way - what is our response when we unwrap the gift of the Christ Child each Christmas?
