Sermon #1– Dec 3rd  2017:  Follow The Star A star is a luminous sphere of plasma held together by its own gravity. The nearest star to Earth is the Sun. Many other stars are visible to the naked eye from Earth during the night, appearing as a multitude of fixed luminous points in the sky due to their immense distance from Earth. The Star of Bethlehem (Jesus Came to Bethlehem Which Means The House Of Bread) or Christmas Star, has been foretold in….  Num. 24:17 I see him, but not here and now. I perceive him, but far in the distant future. A star will rise from Jacob; a scepter will emerge from Israel. It will crush the foreheads of Moab’s people, cracking the skulls of the people of Sheth. Jer. 23:5 “For the time is coming,” says the LORD, “when I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David’s line. He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right throughout the land. And inspired the “wise men from the East” to travel to Jerusalem. The star leads them to Jesus’ home in the town of Bethlehem, where they worship him and give him gifts. That was the beginning of the greatest light and beacon on earth. According to Revelation 22:16 “….. I am the bright morning star.”  Jesus has become and is the light of the world, who leads everyone who will follow HIM into all eternity. MATTHEW 2:2A …and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?
