So often we get caught up in the glitz and glam of Christmas- we forget the essential promise of what it all means.
 
This is for my friend struggling with grief, worry, concern, loss, insecurity, loneliness, or shame this Christmas. May we never forget that we have a God that chose to meet us in the midst of our darkness, not on the other side of it.
