The holiday season, like so many other aspects of American culture, has both good and bad in it. On the one hand we see a spirit of kindness, service and familial piety. On the other we see major theological issues coupled with the a corporate holiday that co-opts the sentiment of so many people in order to drive up sales. This year, as many families spend the winter break at home, many questions about participating in Christmas traditions is acceptable.
