It's not the decorations, the parties, or even the family celebrations, it's the Message! Christmas ultimately isn't a religious call to do things better. Christmas is a message, a proclamation of what God had done/does for a world that can not help itself. Christmas is a proclamation of forgiveness, life, and salvation as a gift to a world that desperately needs it and has no power to attain it.

Remember, there are two kinds of fire in the world: One that burns and consumes and one that burns and empowers. May God's word and God's love burn brightly in you, giving you the strength to face any fire. Until next time, little embers!
