Christopher Carlevato graduated with Part-time Data Science Cohort 2.

Graduated from the University of Virginia in 2015 with a degree in policy and minor in economics. I have worked in low-income education the last four years as a middle school math teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum writer. I became interested in data science when I implemented a data driven instructional model in my classroom and witnessed a noticeable increase in student growth. I will continue my data science education this fall by pursuing a MS in business analytics at the Raymond A Mason School of Business at William and Mary. Upon graduation, I hope to use data science to improve student achievement in k-12 education or counter market distortions in the U.S. healthcare market.
