Christopher-Charles Chaney spent years caring for his mother, Mama Peaches, who passed in 2016 after suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia. It was his love and struggles as a former caregiver that inspired him to journal his experiences on Facebook in 2015 and write his first award-winning caregiving book, Mama Peaches and Me: Wit and Wisdom for Worn-out Caregivers.
